Well good-bye November and hello winter!

Let’s see, let’s start with movies.  We love movies.  This past month we practically managed to see a movie every weekend.  Crazy, I know.  But we do love them (and I get discount tickets at work!), and this time of year is always the best time (in my opinion) for great movies.  Our selection almost proves that theory – – there’s only one that we were a bit less than pleased with.

Madagascar 2:  According to the husband, it was good.  I need to re-watch it in a non-distracting, teen-less environment.

Quantum of Solace:  Very good, of course.  But not quite as good as Casino Royale.

Twilight:  The disappointing one…

Bolt in Disney Digital 3D:  Super cute.  Go see it, even without the 3D!

199gasGas was another exciting event this month.  Yep, it fell below $2.00.  In fact, on the radio I heard it has fallen consistently for 70 plus days.  Wow.  It’s been a nice surprise – – it’s cut our monthly dollars spent on gas by more than half!  That’s nice, especially when family and AIM are so far away.

We also had a great time hanging out with friends around the campfire and celebrating exciting changes with our Nashville wedding photographer friends.  We even spent an evening, just the four of us, with Zach and Jody, getting our delicious home made meal and competitive fix for the month.  What a great time!  Jody suggested it be a monthly thing… I think that sounds like a great idea!  Regardless, there needs to be a guys vs. girls rematch!

November just proved to be a great month, with lots of fellowship with friends from church, time spent with both of our families (my brother here in Nashville and Thanksgiving at Jeff’s parents in Alabama) and just enjoying the holiday season.  There’s so much to be thankful for, and we are just so amazed at the ways we are blessed.  I can’t wait for Christmas now!

I’ll leave you with pictures of Jeff from when we decorated our first Christmas tree and of other sights to help keep the holiday cheer up!  Remember, the best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear!
